About The Owner

Hello, My name is Sydney and I am the owner and solo groomer here at Precious Paws. I have been working with animals since 2011, grooming since 2016 and in business since 2019. I have always had a deep passion for working with animals and you could say they are quite literally my whole life.

  I was born here in Oshkosh, WI and have lived here my whole life. I am 29 years old and have been with my partner Garett for 4 years. We just brought our first child into the world, a sweet baby boy, in July of 2023. 

  As far as fur babies go, we have 3 domestic-short haired cats, Little Bear, Donzi and Kush. All of whom are 10 years old. You will see Kush from time to time as he is my shop kitty and loves to greet my customers with meows, purrs and leg rubs.

 We have 2 Dogs, Chloe the Shih Tzu mix who is 14 years old and Cypress a pure bred Golden Retriever who is 4 years old. Finally we have a Pac-man Frog Alice who is 5 years old and is very much loved for his aesthetic  features.

  I first opened my salon in 2019 grooming both dogs and cats. I also have been offering my pet sitting and dog walking services since then. 

  After my maternity leave in 2023 I decided I needed to do something to make my salon stand out from the crowd. I needed to figure out what my niche was and really hone in on that. 

  After some breif thought and debate, I quickly realized that there is no cat only salons in our area and very few groomers who even offer cat grooming at all.

   I have always held a special love for cats in my heart and I knew that this was the route I needed to take. 

  I decided that as a member of the NCGI I wanted to continue my education and become a certified CFMG so that I could offer my clients the best grooms possible with the best care and most up to date knowledge available.

I knew that having a dog free environment was going to be the best thing I could do for my kitty clients to offer the most relaxed and  serene space for them to get pampered. 

I am extremely proud with how far my business has come and I cannot wait to make you and your fur babies apart of my ever growing Precious Paws family.
